About
Sigal Na'im is a senior lecturer in the undergraduate and graduate departments of Health Systems Management and head of the research authority at the academic college of law and sciences.
Additionally, Sigal lectures in the Human Services department at Emek Yezreel Academic College. Sigal is also the academic coordinator of the Age Friendly University unit at the University of Haifa. She completed her doctoral studies in the Department of Communication Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, under the supervision of Professor Galit Nimrod.
She conducted her post-doctoral studies at the School of Communication at Ariel University, under the supervision of Professor Azi Lev-On. Her doctoral dissertation dealt with aged people on online social networks (mainly Facebook) – motivations, usage patterns, benefits and risks. Her post-doctoral work dealt with digital literacy in old age.
Currently, Sigal specializes in policy research in the field of aging, particularly in age-friendly environments.
